Privacy Policy
This policy describes Numerology Reflection Journal, developed by Dzmitry Dziachenka, and this support website.
1. The short version
Calculations and writing stay on your iPhone. The app has no account, backend, advertising, analytics, or app-managed sync. The developer receives no birth date, name, draft, or observation from the app. If you choose to email support, the developer receives what you send.
2. Information processed on your iPhone
- The birth date and chosen name you last calculated, kept as current inputs so you can use them again. Either reading works independently.
- One active draft, including its reading context, selected response, and writing, so you can resume it.
- Saved observations: creation date, reading type and number, calculation-method and content versions, original theme and question snapshots, response, note, and optional later reflection with its update date. Saved observations do not duplicate the raw chosen name or birth date.
- The last verified Journal Plus access state, to preserve verified access offline, and non-content usage counters, first-launch date, and rating-request dates/version used to limit rating requests. The app does not inspect your response or writing to decide when to ask for a rating.
These records remain in the app’s protected sandbox. No private input or writing is added to logs or purchase metadata. There are no third-party SDKs, remote interpretations, or AI processing. The app requests no camera, photos, contacts, location, health, or notification permissions.
3. Apple services and purchases
Apple processes Journal Plus purchases, localized prices, restoration, refunds, and transaction records through the App Store and StoreKit under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. The app verifies transaction information to determine access; your journal text is not part of that transaction.
Apple also handles system ratings, public reviews, and any system diagnostics you allow in your device settings. The app adds no analytics or crash-reporting SDK and sends the developer no journal content. A rating request does not tell the app whether you rated it or what you wrote.
4. Backups
Your normal iPhone backups, to iCloud or a computer, may contain app data according to your settings. There is no separate developer backup or app-managed cloud sync. Without a usable device backup, removing the app or losing your iPhone can lose your writing. Restore Purchases restores Plus access only; it cannot recover observations or a draft.
5. Retention and deletion
Local inputs, draft, and observations remain until you change or delete them or remove the app. Delete a single observation in Journal after confirmation. In Settings, Delete All Personal Data removes current name and birth-date inputs, all observations, and the active draft after confirmation. It also resets the usage counters for rating eligibility; the prior request date/version remain to prevent repeated requests.
Deleting personal data does not cancel or refund Journal Plus, remove Apple’s transaction record, erase a support email already sent, or delete backups made earlier. Purchase access and its verification cache remain. Deletion is logical deletion, not a promise of forensic erasure or recovery. Backups follow your own backup settings.
6. This website and support email
This website consists of static files on Cloudflare Pages. It has no forms, accounts, scripts, cookies set by the site, or analytics. Cloudflare processes request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site under its privacy policy. Opening a public link contacts the chosen website; it does not attach your local writing.
Mail sent to dzmitry.dziachenka@gmail.com is received and read only by Dzmitry Dziachenka and used only to answer your request. It is not added to a mailing list or used for marketing. Messages and attachments are deleted within 90 days after the request is closed, unless law or an active dispute requires keeping them longer. Email is handled by the email services involved, including Gmail; their own policies apply to delivery and storage.
The app’s email link supplies only the recipient: no automatic message, diagnostics, or attachment. Do not send your birth date, chosen name, or journal writing unless you decide it is necessary. Anything you choose to send has left your iPhone.
7. Changes to this policy
This page is updated before a material change takes effect, and the date at the top changes with it.
